Greetings, reader! So it looks like you want to know a little about me.
Well come on in and have a seat. My name is Sarah and I've been in the
fanfiction realm for nearly five years. I have authored stories in some
15 different fandoms, all available to be read on the crime stories and
fantasy stories links.
I began writing Harry Potter and eventually branched out to Charmed and
other shows. I enjoy the way fanfiction allows the author to explore 'what
if' situations. It is great practice for when the time comes to brach
out into the realm of original writing.
As of now, I have authored 3 novels as well as numerous short stories.
I have one full length screenplay under my belt as well. Currently, I
am working on a pilot TV series. I have 3 additional novel ideas in the
woks.
I believe myself to be a dedicated individual and am studying history.
I will graduate in May 2009 and plan on attending law school full time
starting the following fall. If all works out, I hope to start a career
with either the FBI's Children's Division or the National Center for Missing
& Exploited Children.
But for now, I am just a college student, keeping herself occupied with
writing stories full of drama, romance, magic and crime.
UPDATE
A Fond Farewell
I would like to thank all of you who have taken the time to read my work. Whether it was a one time deal or several stories, I truly appreciate your responses. I must however inform you that I am leaving the realm of fanfiction.
Wrapping my own ideas around already established characters and worlds has given me joy and helped hone my craft for nearly six years and I will never forget these experiences. However, I feel that as my college career comes to an end, so does this chapter of my life. I will of course leave my work here for the enjoyment of others, as that is our purpose as writers. To entertain. And I hope to continue this in the world of publishing, although I do not intend to make my living as a full time author. Fanfiction has given me the necessary stepping stones to weave my own tales believably and fall in love with my own characters. I will take what I have learned and strike out on my own, hoping for success in the next chapter of my life.
I wish you all the best. Good luck in your own endeavors.
